ACE Quality Assurance Workshop

Strengthening quality and continuous improvement in Adult and Community Education

Quality assurance helps organisations understand what they do well, identify opportunities for improvement and provide high-quality learning experiences for adults.

The ACE Quality Assurance Workshop introduces people working in Adult and Community Education (ACE) to the ACE Quality Assurance Framework and explores how it can be used to review organisational practices, demonstrate quality and support continuous improvement.

Designed to be practical and relevant to community education organisations, the workshop provides opportunities to explore the framework, identify evidence of good practice and develop approaches that strengthen organisational processes and learner outcomes.

About the workshop

Providing quality adult and community education involves more than delivering learning programmes. It also requires organisations to reflect on their practices, recognise what is working well and identify opportunities to improve their services.

The ACE Quality Assurance Framework provides a practical tool for organisations to review their performance and strengthen the quality of their learning services.

This half-day workshop introduces participants to the framework and explores how it can be used within their own organisational context.

Participants will consider what quality looks like in adult and community education, identify examples of evidence that demonstrate good practice and explore ways to strengthen organisational processes.

The workshop also supports participants to identify areas for improvement and develop practical actions that can benefit learners and their communities.
